The JConr Plan

RemoveRebuild, and Revitalize

"What City Hall constantly does wrong is put the cart before the horse. In order to save San Francisco, we must ensure we get the basics right by cleaning up the streets, before trying to build upon it. I have a plan to not only set San Francisco up for success, but keep it moving forward!"

JConr B. Ortega

Frequently Asked Questions

How are we going to pay for the plan?

Our $14.6B City budget is about to lose $1.4B and candidates promise to create programs and projects without specifying how they will pay for it. To pay for my plan, we will defund the non-profits that drain the majority of the budget and use that money to FINALLY get addicts into treatment.

How Do we re-staff SFPD?

It's not enough to simply say 'We need officers!'. The task at hand is to staff SFPD with community-oriented and locally derived candidates. To entice these candidates to join SFPD, I will:

- provide housing for current SFPD officers using city property to keep them in the city and invested in the community.

- restore SFPD officer presence to K-12 campuses.

What about commissions?

San Francisco's Commissions have overstepped it's authority from advising to passing policy. As Supervisor, I will make it easier to replace any commissioner that oversteps their boundaries.

Where does jconr stand on housing?

Too many candidates have and continue to promise to build homes, but because we build more homes than we have residents, we end up having neighborhoods littered with 'FOR RENT' signs. So instead of building units that are left empty, I will ensure the supply matches the demand.
